DIVERS DOWN

Ocean Blue Scuba Diving School is located on the Island of Skiathos one of the most beautiful islands of Greece. The diving school is certified by PADI, the most notable dive certification in the world and fully licenced by the Greek Port authorities in Skiathos.  We offer a range of courses from beginners to Pro levels that are delivered both in our purpose-built scuba pool and in the open waters of the sea.  To ensure we provide a standard of excellence we keep both our guided diving excursions and PADI diving courses small.

The owner, Keven discovered his love for the ocean here in Skiathos over 15 years ago and combined this with his passion  for teaching to become a Scuba Diving Instructor.  Since then, he has gone on to scuba dive all around the World including the Caribbean, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian and Red Sea oceans.  He recognises that for some, taking their first breath underwater to scuba dive can be a daunting experience.  Keven, therefore, takes the time to get to know his students and strives to provide a scuba diving experience that is interactive, fun, safe and unforgettable.

Keven is a Scuba PADI and NAUI Instructor and is trained in Emergency First Response. His scuba diving experience in the Skiathos Aegean waters, and his knowledge of its natural environment is vast. Keven’s guided diving excursions are carefully thought out and planned to ensure both experienced scuba divers and those starting out discover the beauty of the Skiathos sea and make great memories.

Our Mission

Is to teach individuals the scuba diving skills required to experience the beauty of the Skiathos sea whilst respecting its natural environment and helping to preserve the marine life in Skiathos.

"Marine debris is not only unsightly, it’s dangerous to sea life, hazardous to human health, and costly to our economies. Marine animals become entangled in debris, and even mistake it for food - often with fatal results. Divers, swimmers and beach goers can be directly harmed by encounters with marine debris or its toxins. The environmental damage caused by plastic debris alone is estimated $13 billion a year".
