Snorkelling Trips

Snorkelling boat excursions around

Skiathos Island

A private boat cruise with snorkelling is a must while you are in Skiathos, and here at Ocean Blue Diving School we offer skippered snorkelling excursions tailor-made for you. You’ll be free to enjoy the aquatic world at some of the best snorkelling sites in Skiathos where you'll make the most memorable underwater experiences with family and friends.

Our snorkelling cruises start at 9.30/10.00am where you will get to explore the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea including sheltered gulfs, our own “hidden gem” and some of the 62 beautiful beaches around Skiathos Island.

We can take you to the famous blue caves and Lalaria beach where you will be able to snorkel and swim in the crystal blue sea water. You’ll then get to see some of the unspoilt beaches on the north side of the Island including Kastro, Kehria, Aselinos, Mandraki and Xerxis.

On our full day excursion, you will also get to either cruise around the island of Tsougrias or Arkos and we will arrange lunch for you at the local beach taverna. Here, we will leave you to spend time sunbathing, swimming, and snorkelling and then collect you to take you back to shore at.

We provide all the snorkelling equipment needed and the boat is fully equipped with life jackets and floatation devices to help those who are less confident in the water.

Our boat is a 6.5m Tomahawk RIB with a 150bhp engine. It has all the modern amenities and has been designed with comfort in mind and can seat up to 6 people.

Prices for up to 4 people are €250 for half a day and €425.00 for a full day including fuel.  An additional €50.00 per person is payable (maximum 6 people). Light refreshments are included in the price.

"Marine debris is not only unsightly, it’s dangerous to sea life, hazardous to human health, and costly to our economies. Marine animals become entangled in debris, and even mistake it for food - often with fatal results. Divers, swimmers and beach goers can be directly harmed by encounters with marine debris or its toxins. The environmental damage caused by plastic debris alone is estimated $13 billion a year".
